I have been going to Alexa exclusively for the past 3 years for all of my makeup needs! I absolutely love her product knowledge on everything she uses. Every time I get my look done by Alexa, I am flattered by how many compliments I get – makeup is definitely a confidence booster! The great thing about Alexa is that she listens to what you like and dislike – she will never force a style on you. Her method is very collaborative and fun!

Along the way Alexa has taught me how to perfect strong eyebrows, how to line my lips flawlessly and most importantly, she has taught me how to put on fake eyelashes!!

Also, Alexa is simply a miracle worker. My sister had a horrible waxing incident on her eyebrows 2 days before a wedding she was standing up in! We called Alexa immediately and she had Vicky come see her right away. Alexa showed Vicky how to shape & fill her eyebrows and gave her all the necessary tools to use. My sister felt immediately better about the situation and you couldn’t even tell that half her eyebrow was nearly missing!

Lastly, I have recommended Alexa’s make up expertise to everyone I know because I truly believe she is one of the best MUA in Chicago. She will make you look and feel confident, radiant and beautiful!

I recently had a wonderful experience with makeup artist, Alexa Glombicki. I chose Alexa for my wedding makeup and I was not disappointed. She was extremely accommodating for my makeup trial and insisted on open honesty in regards to what I wanted / didn’t want. Alexa puts her full focus on what you’re looking for in your makeup, which is great because there are no harsh feelings for the “can we change this…?” situations. She is there for YOU…so don’t be shy!

Now, for the makeup …STUNNING. Everyone commented on how beautiful I looked, not to mention I felt absolutely beautiful. We went with many of Alexa’s suggestions and I am so happy we did because I wouldn’t have changed a thing about my final makeup look.

Final verdict: Hire her. You won’t regret it. You’ll have amazing products on your face that last all night. I was in Cancun for my wedding sweating my life away for 6 hours, and that makeup was fresh the whole time—you can’t beat THAT!

While she only did my makeup twice I would not hesitate to recommend her or even demand to fly her over to Greece where I reside in order for her to do my makeup.

The first time I visited Alexa at her workplace she was very thorough in providing me with the information and knowledge that I needed in order to replicate her work and have a natural fresh look for my every-day makeup routine. Due to her tutelage my friends kept asking about my skin regime and when I told them that I had applied my tinted moisturizer, concealer, bronzer, blush and highlighter I was met with surprise and the phrase “oh my god it looks like you don’t have all of that on”. Her instructions cannot be compared to with anything less than the best.

She had also done my makeup at a wedding where I was a bridesmaid. Not only did she do EIGHT people flawlessly in under 5 hours, but her work continued to last throughout the night. She took into account the looks we wanted and delivered without the standard “caked on” look that is done by other makeup artists that do not even have a smidge of the talent Alexa possesses.

I will not hesitate to hire her again. She is an exceptional professional.

Alexa is a true artist! She is so talented and extremely personable. She did my makeup for a wedding I was attending and I felt AMAZING after our session.
