My name is Alexa, I am a makeup artist living in the city of Chicago.
My obsession with the beauty industry started in 2009 when I attended Pivot Point International Academy for my license in cosmetology. After graduating, I began my career by working in salons throughout the city doing hair. After doing makeup for some special events at hair shows, I decided to refocus my career on makeup full time.
After working for MAC for four years, I’ve spent time working with Bluemercury boutique, NARS and Barney’s New York to strengthen and expand my knowledge to all premier brands of skincare and makeup.
I’ve had many fun opportunities to travel to different states and work with different companies. One of my favorite parts of my job is getting to know and meet all different types of people and make them look and feel their best for their special occasion, whatever it may be!
When I’m not practicing and perfecting my makeup techniques, I love to cook for my friends, hangout with my Great Dane Sasha, and explore Chicago!
